Analyzing cores with the Geotek MSCL<\/strong> series is a key step in many geological applications, such as paleoclimatic studies, mineral, oil and gas exploration, geometallurgy, and geotechnics. The operation of the MSCL-S involves automatically moving the core simultaneously under a wide variety of geophysical and geochemical sensors integrated into a single set. The data is recorded with depth information in the well. The advantage of multi-parameter scanning is the ability to analyze correlations between parameters on consistent data sets and graphs, which facilitates the acquisition of additional information about core lithology.<\/p>\n

It is possible to scan whole or cut sediment cores, even unconsolidated ones, and whole or cut rock cores in tubes, or in bulk. Depending on your needs, measurements can be taken at preset distances from 1 to 100 mm, with position accuracy of more than 0.1 mm. You can also expand your existing set with a new sensor if needed.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
